Should I go before you
If God called me home today
Would you shed a tear?
Embracing all the memories
That I, myself...held dear.
Or would you hang your head in pity
Thinking, what a shame
Shedding tears for only yourself
As you gently whispered my name.

Or would you share a smile
With all of those today
As upon my casket,
a flower you would lay.
Would you gently touch my hand
That now is held by Gods
Celebrating in your heart
For I am not truly gone.

For now I live in a Heavenly Home
The beauty is beyond any earthly imagination
I live within His love and eternal amazing grace
Someday you shall see it too.
As you look upon my face
Where there is no sickness or pain
Only joy I now embrace.

So on the day your name is called
I shall sing and I'll rejoice
Echoing in harmony
Across the Heavenly Land
There I'll be waiting
As I take you by the hand.
