The leaders of our country,
We call them President.
They rule one nation under God.
That's the way it was meant.

They make some tough decisions,
For which they're often judged.
They have responsibilities
And names often smudged.

Some were young, others old.
They were military, lawyers, or actors.
Some left their mark on the world.
But, each had a deciding factor.

They were leaders of our Nation.
We honor them with respect.
So, on this, our President's day,
May we stop and reflect.
