A day of warmth and beauty
People going on their way
Little did anyone know
That fateful summer day.

The waters rolled in anger
Waves splashing up so high
Thousands of people met their death
We can hear their voices die.

Children helpless and crying
Lives ended in disbelief
Desperate to help each other
Yet there was no relief.

Our prayer today is all we have
To let those survivors know
They will be in our heart's forever
Where ever they may go.

Thousands homeless and dying
We many never know their despair
But God will help us help them
He will let them know we care.

People of Tsunami we are by your side
Our prayers with you each day
Your friends will not forsake you
For help is on the way.
