Do you think about the "forgotten ones",
who have no home to call their own?
And while we are safe and warm inside,
they wander the streets, cold and alone.

Do you think about the "forgotten ones",
who are hungry and thirsty all the time?
And while we can buy whatever we need,
they beg in the streets, for every dime.

Do you think about the "forgotten ones",
who are sick and dying from all they bear?
And while we're able to have medical help,
they endure it alone, with no proper care.

Do you think about the "forgotten ones",
who have no warm love to fill their heart?
And while we've love of family and friends,
they feel alone, empty, in a world so stark.

Do you think about the "forgotten ones",
who need people to care, like you and me?
We can make a difference to their lives,
and make their world, a better place to be.
