I had walked down the streets of love,
and found myself to be lonely and cold.
When dreams I'd made passed me by,
and I had been left, with no one to hold.

Through all the streets I had wandered,
unsure of the way I should have turned.
To find the love which had eluded me;
a love my heart had constantly yearned.

My shoes were worn; my heart so tired;
from searching for that one true love.
A once in a lifetime gift which is given,
with Angels' blessings, from God above.

The streets of love felt empty and dark;
I debated if I should continue to walk on.
When it seemed I'd been looking forever,
and my hope to find my true love had gone.

Then amidst the darkness shone a light,
as I watched you walking the same street.
When our paths met, our hearts touched;
I knew you were the love I'd longed to meet.

Now we walk the streets of love together,
finding beauty and love each step we take.
And all of the love that fills both our hearts,
is of the dreams, which one's heart makes.

I have finally found my true love with you;
it's everything I thought such love could be.
You have filled my heart and soul with life,
with all the love that you have given to me.
